If you’re in the market for a small kitchen appliance like an air fryer, a microwave oven, or a trusty Dutch oven, you’ve come to the right place for holiday shopping.
We monitor everything we test all year long, and even though Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still weeks away, you can already find some great deals. Following some big sales at Amazon, Best Buy, and other big retailers at the beginning of October, we’re still seeing a lot of those low prices on plenty of items, including many things you might need for your kitchen or want to give as gifts this year. No matter the reason you’re shopping, we are here to help you find the best offers available right now, and we’ll be tracking prices on everything now through Black Friday and the whole holiday season.
With more concerns about budgets and tariffs, finding savings anywhere you can is a must for many of us this year, but that doesn’t mean you want to sacrifice quality just to save a little extra. A good deal is about more than just the price tag, so we look at the quality of the item based on how it performs in our lab tests and at-home evaluations. Everything in this list is not only going to be easy on your wallet, but it’s going to be a great addition to your kitchen and work well for a long time to come.

Air Fryers
The Ninja Pro AF141 is an easy-to-use air fryer with a measured capacity of 3.8 quarts and a range of cooking functions, including a dehydrate setting. It’s not the quietest air fryer, but it’s not especially noisy either, and our testers found it easy to clean. It comes with pre-programmed settings for cooking different foods, plus a recipe book and cooking charts to help guide your cooking. You’ll get a 1-year warranty with this machine.
Coffee Makers
Getting a quick first cup of coffee in the morning is one of the main draws of a K-Cup coffee maker, and the CR Recommended Keurig K-Cafe Barista Bar with Frother single-serve machine delivers, earning an excellent score for first cup speed in CR’s tests. It also shows excellent performance in our tests for size consistency and temperature consistency. This model comes with a feature that allows you to brew your coffee over ice without causing as much ice to melt as you’d find with a standard brew, though we haven’t tested that function. Plus, there’s an option to brew a two-ounce shot for more café-style drinks, and its milk frother allows you to produce hot or cold foam. And now that Home Depot has set this as the regular price, odds are it won’t get more expensive again, either, so you don’t have to rush to get this deal.
The Zojirushi Dome Brew Programmable EC-ESC120 coffee maker is at its usual sale price. It was around $90 during the last big sale, so this is definitely one we’d recommend adding to your Black Friday list and buying later when the price is likely to drop again. It’s especially convenient to use, based on our judgments of setup, operation, and cleanup. We also found its carafe was fairly easy to use, hold, pour from, and empty. Its brew performance fell short, though, with just a mediocre score in that test. Yet Zojirushi coffee makers earn excellent scores for predicted reliability and owner satisfaction in CR’s member surveys. That means its machines are less likely to break down than other coffee maker models within four years of purchase, and owners are more likely to recommend their coffee maker to friends and family.
Blenders
The Ninja BL770 is not just a blender. Ninja calls it an entire kitchen system, which can save you some space if you might have bought a full-sized blender, a personal blender, and a food chopper all separately. As a blender, this Ninja proved tough in our durability tests, in which we crush ice cubes over the course of 45 tests or until the blender breaks. It also earns very good scores in our performance tests, including those for icy drinks, purée, and ice crushing. With the personal blender attachment, this model actually earned an excellent score for pureeing. Plus, the food chopper attachment can be used with an included dough blade. Prices have been up and down on this model over the past year, so if you need to pass on it this time around, it’s a safe bet that this will go back on sale in the next few months.
We’ve seen deals this low on the Professional Plus Kitchen System BN801 Blender before, but this pre-Black Friday sale may still be worth taking advantage of to snag one of the highest-rated blenders we’ve tested. It’s especially handy if you plan on using a new blender to make smoothies and soups, considering its excellent performance in our tests for icy drinks and purees. It also has very good performance in our ice crush tests.
The GE G8H1AASSPSS Blender is an immersion model that often costs $70, so you’re really only saving about $9 here, but it’s still a good value given the performance. It comes with a whisk and chopper, and it showed excellent performance in our soup puree tests, and the chopper attachment did a great job grating cheese. The whisk attachment allows you to quickly whip egg whites to stiff peaks and easily turn heavy cream into rich whipped cream.
Mixers
A stand mixer like the KitchenAid Artisan Series KSM195PSBK is a prized possession on many bakers’ countertops, and this price makes it easier to add it to yours. It was $50 less during the last big sale, but if you want to get one ahead of Thanksgiving, it’s the only discount available for a new KitchenAid model that excels in CR’s tests. This stand mixer earns an excellent score for whipping time in whipped-cream tests and an excellent score in our mixing tests, where we observe how much a mixer labors when mixing thick chocolate-chip cookie dough. It comes with a stainless steel bowl with a handle, a whisk, and a dough hook. This model can also run attachments like a pasta maker or spiralizer, bought separately.
Cookware
While we’ve seen the CR Recommended 11-piece Cuisinart SmartNest Stainless Steel N91-11 cookware set for less in the past year, at this discount, it’s still worth considering, especially if you’re gearing up for holiday cooking. It receives excellent scores in our cooking evenness and food release tests, and shows very good results in all of the other performance measures we test for, including speed of heating, ease of cleaning, handle temperature, and handle sturdiness. This set is induction compatible, oven safe (without its lids) to 500° F, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
The Babish 14-inch carbon steel wok is flat-bottomed, smooth, and comes seasoned. It scores well for speed of heating and even better for cooking evenness. The metal section of the handle is short, so it’s less likely to be grabbed by unwary cooks. It has a metal helper handle, making it easier to lift (with a potholder) when full. Our testers found it to be easy to clean and use, andf it’s just a few dollars more than the best price we’ve seen.
One nice plus of this 11-piece stainless cookware set is that it includes a steamer insert for the 3-qt. covered saucepan. Another is that the lids are glass, so it’s easy to see whether you’ve got a boil going. This set also earns accolades from our testers for cooking evenness, speed of heating, and keeping tomato sauce at an even simmer. It’s only slightly less successful at releasing food and, subsequently, being easy to clean, but even then it scores well above average—and does so at a very reasonable price point.
Toasters
Kate Spade can make even your kitchen more fashionable with this Kate Spade All In Good Taste 888394 2-Slice toaster. And it’s not just a pretty accessory. It earns excellent scores for toasting time and color range, meaning you can have a crispy slice or two toasted just the way you like in a snap. Plus, it’s easy to clean, earning an excellent score in those lab evaluations. This toaster earns only a mediocre score for toasting one slice evenly, but if you generally prefer more than that, this may be the toaster for you. At half its list price, you might also consider snapping one up as a holiday gift for another toast-lover in your life.
Food Processors
The CR Recommended Cuisinart Custom 14 DFP-14BCNY food processor was $40 less during the last big sale, but this is still an impressive discount if you want to pick it up before Thanksgiving. It earns our top score for its shredding ability and is a strong performer when it comes to chopping and slicing. It’s also one of the quietest models we’ve tested. It weighs nearly 15 pounds (something worth knowing if you’d keep a food processor in a lower cabinet). Many of the food processors we’ve evaluated operate with push-buttons, but this one has levers, which can be easier for some users, such as those with vision loss. This Cuisinart food processor frequently goes on sale, according to our research, so if you can’t pony up for it now, don’t be surprised if you see it on sale again in the next few months.
