Anonymous A., MA (2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack SEL 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Heater system

"Takes forever to heat in cold weather. When in for service, Im told no problem. I believe a thermostat issue but dealer says not so."

Anonymous, PA (2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack SEL 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    Drive System

"Car started shaking/bibrating while driving found out later therewas a recall on that and i was refunded"

Anonymous, ON (2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack SEL 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Other driveline problem

"The vehicle just recently crossed 50K miles. We continue to have to replace wheel sensors as they stop working - there were at least one, and possibly two more occurrences of this in the last 12 months. If we didn't have an extended warranty, the dealer was asking $900 to replace it. Under the warranty, we paid $0, and the dealer received $500. There are problems all around this issue. In the end, we have performed this exercise 5+ times, and that means some have been replaced twice. While the vehicle is operable, many things don't work properly such as vehicle stabilization, cruise control, starting acceleration, etc. I would not purchase another VW Golf, and VW will not be on my list of manufacturers to consider in the future."

Anonymous, FL (2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack SEL 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    Noises/Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Air or water leaks

"Water pools at rear passenger footwell, presumably due to problems with the sunroof drain. It's only a problem during hard rains. VW is helpful about cleaning the drains when I bring the car in, but it doesn't appear easy to fix the problem. I am careful about placing towels (and replacing them frequently) to keep the car smelling good."

Anonymous, OR (2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"water leaks from the around the antenna on the roof"

Anonymous, WA (2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)
