As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
What should you do:
Rivian will inspect and replace the front turn signals as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed July 25, 2025.
