"Front Passenger power-window mechanism broke when I lowered the window during a drive several weeks ago, heard something break/crack, unsure what. Electric mechanism would not raise window, but I was able to pull it by hand on both sides, and it stayed up throughout that trip. When I got home I used package tape to ensure window would not slip down. I intend to remove door trim to see exactly what broke, and if I can repair it myself based on online video at 1AAuto.com. Have not reported to insurance yet since this is not related to crash/collission, unsure if this is covered."
