Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Despite the name, the luxury midsized Range Rover Sport is really based on the new LR3, and not the unibody Range Rover. It also features the LR3's Terrain Response system for dealing variety of off-road situations. A 4.4-liter V8 is standard, with the supercharged 4.2-liter V8 is optional. The five-passenger interior is full of tasteful leather, wood trim, and luxury amenities, including active cruise control and rear DVD screens. Off-road capability is acceptable, although the 19-inch tires don't lend themselves to that task. The stiff ride does not translate into the agility and responsiveness of its main competitors, the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne.
