What Owners Say
"Slow development of a motor oil leak at the point that the filter attaches to the engine."
Anonymous, MO (2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited 3.2-L V6)"A few months ago, around March 2024, I had trouble fueling the gas tank. The gas station pump kept shutting off. I thought it was just the pump handle until the problem occurred at every gas station I went to. I took the car to the Jeep dealer and they said that the whole fuel system had to be replaced because it was ruined by an overflow of carbon material from a filter. I'm not sure if that's the exact explanation but it's something like that. They said it was caused by trying to pump more gas into the tank after the initial automatic shut-off of the gas station pump handle. So I actually caused this problem myself unknowingly. It cost $2500 to repair."
Anonymous A., VA (2014 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"When filling tank only allows to fill a little then stops, need to try again and again, never takes a full tank"
Anonymous, OH (2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 3.2-L V6)
"It was a seal leak in the engine . I did not realize I had the leak until I brought the car in for an oil change. Because of where the Seal leak was, it cost me around $1000. I had it fixed as soon as I could and to date this April 28, 2024 I have no problem. The problem was last summer around May or April. And I had it fixed right away."
