"Driver side front caliper seized/stuck causing the pads / rotor to wear out. Had to replace the caliper, rotors and pads."

"Started immediately after breaking and swerving to avoid a collision. Successfully avoided the accident but the front passenger break begin vibrating and making a strange grinding noise. It continued for several days and when we took the car in for a scheduled recall appt the dealership mechanics said they break pad was gone and it was steel on steel. Everyones best guess its somehow the break pad flew off during the aforementioned incident. Otherwise the car was in excellent condition. Had the breaks repaired and all is well."

The cylinder head was already replaced the second time this happened, but it occurred for a third time last year. The car was still under certified warranty when the cylinder head was diagnosed as needing replacement, but the warranty company refused to pay. The local Honda rep finally said that Honda would cover the costs. I will never buy a certified used car again."
