Introduction
The Yukon XL used to be called the SuburbanÑa name now exclusive to the XL's Chevrolet twin. Both are among the largest SUVs on the road. The XL can seat up to nine or tow a trailer weighing 9,000 pounds. It also offers selectable full-time four-wheel drive. It was redesigned for 2000 and has vastly improved. The ride is good, handling is respectable, and the vast cabin is quiet. Traction control is available on two-wheel-drive versions.
