Went to work on Sunday and all of a sudden I was pushing on the accelerator but not accelerating, in the meantime my RPMs were going up along with the force of the accelerator. Brought it in and sure enough it was my transmission that needed to be replaced. It went from having no issues 2 months ago to having metal shavings all in the tank and in need of a complete replacement. 5900! I have to take the car I can't justify that especially after all of the bad luck I've had with it with recalls and things going wrong."

Anonymous A., (2014 Ford Fusion S)"Calling it Quits for the night and doing my last delivery. Upon leaving the client's house, my steering cable completely snapped. So I was stuck halfway on the street and sidewalk unable to move. While I was waiting for my roadside assistance to come I learned that this was actually a recall issue. Thankfully they fixed it for free, but found a bazillion other ways to charge me a bazillion dollars while my car was in there, like $155 lug nuts!"

"Started May 2023, and has occurred twice. First time I had to stoop a hill snd couldn't get car to start, so it kept rolling backward (toward a lake!), Second tie I had been parked and ground was level, so ot much of an issue, maybe a few minutes til it engaged and I was on my way. I have not yet had this or a recent recall tended to because of health issues."

"Recently discovered that coolant was leaking into 2 of the cylinders and were told we need a new engine and were quoted $6400 by the dealer. This was just a few months after spending over $1500 on a new serpentine belt and water pump. We havent driven it much since to prevent it from completely failing until we decide how to proceed. After doing more online searches, I found out that this is a common problem with 2013-2019 1.5 liter engines in this car. Extremely disappointed as we owe quite a bit on the car still. The car had 114,000 miles on it."
