"Android Auto is great when it's working properly. However, sometimes it fails to connect. Frustrating."

"On my fourth phone connected to display, I do not have built in navigation, and very frequently the vehicle will advise no phone connected. When trailer towing on tow/haul mode over any extended time the display will always at some point advise the trailers NOT connected. The Ford dealer states it's the trailer and the trailer repair shop advises it not the trailer. Three times since I've owned the vehicle the dash has gone completely blank/black, but only for a second or so.The rear camera has had to be recentered twice as it has been dislodged in its housing."

"Start vehicle and it freezes on opening screen causing problems if you have to back up because the camera wont come on. Usually within 5-10 minutes it goes black for a few minutes and the reboots and works. Extremely frustrating."

"Battery failed early, it is an AGM battery. Electrical load with approach lighting technology on this vehicle is high. Infotainment and features were limited as soon as vehicle was turned off with this condition. Barely made cutoff to have this fixed under warranty."

"Problem started at about 2.5 years of truck age. First started when the temperature got below 41 degrees. The problem also happened if the truck was not driven every day for a number of miles. Truck was in the shop a few times but nothing changed. I asked for a new battery but it was declined twice. I finally strongly insisted the third time and got one but I paid for it and received no money back on the original battery warranty.I have only had the new battery a few weeks so it is too soon to tell if the fix worked. I believe the battery was the problem as the voltage was always low when I encountered the problem. I know because I checked it when I had the problem and when I did not.The voltage was OK when I did not have the problem."

"The vehicle was still under the original warranty (3 years/36K miles) and the transmission was rebuilt by the dealer because of a failed module. I was without the vehicle for two weeks while this was being done. Essentially, under certain conditions, it would shift hard from 6th to 7th gear during acceleration, and would shift hard from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd when it was downshifting as you approach a stop. It was a known issue with the vehicle and there was a TSB out for it, which prompted the transmission rebuild. Since having it repaired, there have been no issues."
