This vehicle doesn't get driven much so I thought it might just be rust wearing off. No, it wasn't. Within a couple weeks it became louder and louder and obvious something was drastically wrong. I took it to the dealer and they told me the calipers had frozen and eaten into the rotors so bad that the truck needed a complete rear brake job. I had just replaced the brakes all the way around 7 years earlier. And looking back at the repair logs it had less than 10,000 miles on the brakes."

"The problem set in quickly. I used it one week and the next time the vibration was so bad I didn't dare drive it over 20mph. The mechanic said it looked like one of the bolts holding the u joint had backed out. Required a new u joint. I did not notice any warning signs prior to the onset of the vibration. Mileage was and is around 111000. Problem resolved a week later after the part arrived."
