"My wife loves her X1, but the brake wear is insane. Weve had it for 66,000 miles and have replaced the front pads at least twice. Ive had my MERCEDES-BENZ C300 for 70,000 miles and still have not replaced the brakes (I recognize Im comparing a sedan with an SUV, but that difference just seems unreasonable)."
